We drove to Bordeaux to catch up with Jan and John. They bought us a nice lunch sat outside the Brasserie Les Quatre Sœurs. It was great to chat and catch up with them while they were touring France and before we set off for home.

We visited the Austrian ski resort of Mayrhofen for the afternoon, before heading to Innsbruck to find a Hotel (which took hours of driving round looking).

Friday night Erica and I met Matt and Luke for a drink in Y Delyn Wine Bar in Mold. After a while we went to the Glas Fryn to meet Phil and his girlfriend, Siemon and Alison.

Another sunny day wakeboarding on the River Dee. Finally got Erica to have a try at wakeboarding. She did well for a first attempt on the training bar.

I took Erica to see Lou Barlow on his Emoh album tour. It was wonderful, and she came back loving Lou's music.

For Susan's birthday we went to Tinos Italian restaurant, Pudsey. Then back to her new flat for drinks.

Erica and I Abseiled 60m down the dam wall at Baitings Reservoir in Ripponden Valley to raise money for the National Kidney Research Fund. I managed to raise £225.74 for the charity, thanks to those who sponsored me.

We all headed up to Brévent area where Nibbs learnt to use a poma, and we crused about in the sun. A trip up the téléphérique Planpraz - Brévent to 2525m resulted in a broken digital camera!

Me and Nibbs set off from Liverpool Airport on Easyjet to Geneva, where we waited for a while to get the bus to Chamonix. When we finally arrived, Sally and Jim had already checked into the apartment. We went for a meal to celebrate the start of the holiday.

I was best man for Gareth and Annemarie Niblett. Great wedding!

Gareth gets married next week, so as his best man I aranged a stag day and night. We went to profile events for Powerturns Buggies and 4x4 driving in Halifax. We met in leeds for beers then on to Lucky Dragon for a chinese banquet, more drinking, then to the cockpit to finish the night off. Needless to say, we got him very drunk!
